In Ann Schrader’s “Wheat Ridge man charged in attack on cat”, what matters is a man from Golden, Colorado is being charged with animal cruelty, because he caused serious injury to his girlfriends 2 year old cat named Sid. First, Police said that James Witlock, 26, was angry at his girlfriend and took his rage on her cat. When Whitlock was arrested he told Wheat Ridge investigators that there was an imprint of the cat’s face in blood that he caused. Investigators found blood on the floor and walls of the bathroom. Police say that Whitlock told his girlfriend he was going to “choke and kill” her cat. Sid is still recovering from his injuries and James Whitlock’s court appearance is scheduled for November 7. I think that this issue is horrible. I think you should never beat up a cat. That is just plain horrible but as long as its not dead and it's gonna be able to walk then I am ok. But, its is horrible he is going to hell.

Its really sad and pathetic were people threaten to baet up cats. It was between the man and the woman not the cat.

Oh my gosh this story is so sad. I read about this and i also wrote about it and i think that this story is so sad. I thought you did a really good. Your question made me think really hard about it and I think that he should be in jail for a really long time.
Anthony, Your topic was a good topic but horrible for the cat. I think the guy should be sentenced for 6 years. They should make him suffer by picking up cat dung from the vet. And get sewed for like 6 grand.

I think you had a really interesting topic. I have two cats of my own, so I think that I have a different perspective on animal cruelty. Your question was a good question, but I think you should probably give more information on the story to give people more information and a perspective. great topic and the only thing I think you could have done better is project your voice. To answer your question maybe a year in jail but nothin to big its not like he took a life and cows or pigs are slotterd every day but whats the difference between a pig and a cat.
